NATO Science Program has highly appreciated "Network Infrastructure" project realized jointly by UNDP and "Internet Access and Infrastructure Development for research, educational and civil society development purposes" (AzNET) project. "Network infrastructure" project has been realized by financial assistance of NATO Science Program.

Mr. Rafal Rohozinski, Project Coordinator from NATO Science Program, Head of the Information Security Research Group at the University of Cambridge, held a monitoring of implemented activities during his visit to Azerbaijan, and highly appreciated achieved results.

It should be noted that the goal of the "Network Infrastructure" project is creation of high quality fiber network for the educational and public sectors of Ganja. As a result of implemented activities, it was created the high-speed network able to cover 6 PoPs and about 100 secondary schools, higher education institutions, educational institutions, libraries, and non-commercial organizations. Presently, connection process of educational institutions to this network is under realization.
