CCNA Program
The
Cisco Networking Academy CCNA exam prep program gives students background
information and knowledge regarding networking computer systems. Through
Cisco's online course in a lab setting, students will develop the skills
needed to design, build, and maintain small to medium sized networks.
Upon successful completion, students can enter the workforce or further
their education in the computer field.
Some of the solutions
that a CCNA will be able to offer, based on a combination of training
and real-world experience:
- Install and configure a network
- Optimize WAN solutions using different types of Internet access
- Provide remote access by integrating dial-up connectivity with traditional,
remote LAN to LAN access
CCNA course consists
of 4 semesters to be learned in certain order .The first semester includes
general induction and general theory of networkinteraction .The second
one presents basics of routing and router operation systems. Semesters
3 and 4 cover designing of LAN and WAN systems correspondingly. Along
with theoretical preparation each semester includes practical laboratory
activities. Following is the more detailed information about the CCNA
course.
